Ayra — Video Player for Kids
Open Ayra, go to your playlist, and tap the Add Video button. You can select videos from your device's photo library or files. Videos stay on your device — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
To import a YouTube playlist:
Ayra fetches the playlist via RSS feed — no YouTube account or login required.
Emoji playlists let you organize videos with fun emoji icons instead of boring text names. Kids can recognize their favorite playlists by the emoji — like 🦕 for dinosaur videos or 🎵 for music!
When Guided Mode is active, kids can't exit the player without solving an unlock challenge. You can choose from 4 methods:
You can change the unlock method anytime in Settings.
Guided Mode locks the player so your child can only watch the videos you've selected. They can't browse, exit to other apps, or skip past your set limits. Perfect for screen time you feel good about.
DND Mode prevents notifications and interruptions while your child is watching. No pop-ups, no calls breaking through — just uninterrupted viewing.
Skip limits let you control how many times your child can skip to the next video. This encourages them to actually watch what's playing instead of endlessly flipping through videos.
Try these steps:
Delete and reinstall the app to reset all settings, including your unlock method. Since Ayra stores everything locally and collects no data, a reinstall gives you a fresh start. You will need to re-add your playlists.
Make sure:
Some very large playlists may take a moment to load.
